Before & After Treatment
Before Treatment
- Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and vitamin E for 48 hours.
- Pause use of active skincare (retinols, acids) 2–3 days before.
- Do not undergo any major dental work 2 weeks before or after.
- If prone to cold sores, antiviral medication may be advised.
After Treatment
- Expect mild swelling, redness, or bruising for 24–72 hours.
- Avoid makeup for at least 12 hours.
- Refrain from exercise, heat, or pressure on the area for 48 hours.
- Sleep with your head elevated and avoid massaging the area.
Your Dermal Filler Journey
Day 0 – Consultation & Treatment Day
Thorough facial assessment, bespoke treatment plan, and in-clinic filler procedure. Mild swelling, redness, or pinprick marks are common.
Days 1–3 – Initial Healing Phase
Swelling may peak during this time. Some clients may experience light bruising or tenderness. Use cold compress if needed. Avoid exercise, heat, and pressure.
Days 4–7 – Settling Period
Most visible swelling subsides. Filler begins to settle into place. Lips may still feel slightly firm or uneven temporarily.
Days 7–14 – Final Result
Your results will be fully settled. Expect enhanced volume, contour, and symmetry. If needed, a review or refinement appointment can be booked.
6–18 Months – Longevity
Fillers typically last between 6 to 18 months depending on product, metabolism, and treatment area. Maintenance sessions are recommended.
